Tyub-karagan
Overview
The project was implemented under the Production Sharing Agreement for "Tub-Karagan" located in Caspian Sea No. 1290 as of December 29, 2003.
The project participants
- "KazMunayTeniz" JSC OOC - 50%
- "Lukoil Overseas Shelf B.V." - 50%.
Social Commitment
- Annual training of Kazakhstani personnel for the amount of USD$500 thousand.
- Annual funding for social projects for the amount of USD$ 500 thousand.
Works completed under the Project:
- Detailed 2D-Seismic Survey, scope — 615 linear km (2004—2007);
- Seismic Data Processed and Interpreted (2005—2009);
- Geological and Engineering Survey before drilling;
- Construction of ТК-1 Exploration Well, depth — 2500 m (2005 г.);
- DNEM Electrical Survey (2006—2007 гг.);
- Special types of spaceborne measurements, processing, analysis and interpretation of results (2008);
- Construction of exploration well TK-2, depth - 2150 m (2011).
- Analysis and summary of the results of exploration work conducted on the Contract Territory (2012).
The project was completed due to the expiration of the exploration period.
