“KazMunayTeniz” Marine Oil Company JSC has signed Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC

Signing of the Memorandum took place today within the framework of the 10th Meeting of the Council of the “KAZENERGY” Association. The Memorandum has been signed by Mr. Karabalin U.S., the General Director of Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC and Mr. Marabayev Y.N., General Director of "KazMunayTeniz" OOC JSC.
In compliance with the Memorandum, “KazMunayTeniz” OOC JSC and Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC will start establishment of business relations for cooperation in the area of geological prospecting and exploration, mining and field infrastructure development and other petroleum operations with due account for their activity categories and set goals.
On the Memorandum signing ceremony the Executive Management of "KazMunayTeniz" OOC JSC have noted that signing of the Memorandum providing cooperation in the area of geological prospecting and exploration along with application of new technologies, will become an important step in provision of efficient management of petroleum operations, since "KazMunayTeniz" is one of the leading companies engaged in oil and gas prospecting under subsurface use contracts in offshore projects in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“KazMunayTeniz” Offshore Oil Company JSC has been established on March 14, 2003 and is a 100% subsidiary of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
National company “KazMunayGaz” JSC – is Kazakhstan national operator on exploration, mining, processing and transportation of hydrocarbons acting out state’s interests in oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. 100 percent of shares of NC “KazMunayGaz” JSC belong to "Fund of National Wealth “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC.
