КМТ and KBR announced about the cooperation concerning preparation of Kazakhstani staff.
On the 30th of April, 2009, in Astana city «KazMunayTeniz» JSC Offshore Oil Company and «Kellogg Brown & Root Limited» company (the Great Britain) jointly have made a statement about the cooperation concerning preparation of Kazakhstani staff for offshore oil projects.
The Parties reminded that correspondent agreement has been signed in March, 2008. According to achieved agreements in July, 2008, four KMT engineers have been sent for two-year program to Lezerhead city (the Great Britain). Training and probation in the office and on production facilities shall be carried out for the account of the Receiving Party. During this period each of trainees will be involved to the definite project of KBR, implemented by the Company for Kazakhstan.
The program of development of Kazakhstani staff for offshore oil operations has been approved by «КazMunayGas» JSC NC in 2006. Within the frameworks of the Program, КМТ chooses the best University graduates and young specialists of the company for training and probation in the leading foreign oil and project companies, such as Shell, ExxonMobil, BUE, ConocoPhillips, etc. So, during the period from November, 2006 to December, 2008, 37 specialists have been sent for training and probation.
КМТ plans to continue the cooperation with the large international companies concerning preparation of Kazakhstani specialists, including such oil and gas specialties as projecting of oil and gas facilities, projecting and construction of pipelines, oil-well drilling.
