Environmental policy
The purpose of JSC OOC «KazMunayTeniz» policy (hereinafter- the Company) is to become a leading company in management of projects related to exploration, appraisal and development of oil and gas fields in offshore and coastal areas of the Caspian and Aral Seas in accordance with the world practice of rational exploitation of oil fields.
The Company's policy in HSE is the most significant part in general policy and strategy of the Company.
The achievement of goals in HSE policy is provided by the execution of the following principles:
1. Minimization of risks of damage to environment, health and safety.
2. Strict observance of applicable national legislation and international law in HSE and international standards — ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
3. Motivation of the Company's employees to increase their competence and awareness in HSE and execute their work with solicitous and rational attitude to environment and people.
4. Continuous improvement and enhancement of efficiency of HSE management system.
5. Study and application of foreign and domestic advanced experience in oil and gas projects management.
6. Require contractors to comply with the Company's HSE standards and regulations with the subsequent monitoring of carrying -out of these requirements.
This policy is:
- the subject of constant analysis and review depending on amendments into legislation, conditions of business environment and activity of the Company.
- common to the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
- available for interested parties
The management of the Company assumes a responsibility to analyze and provide HSE management system with necessary resources and conditions.
